9 Youtube Channels that You Don’t Want to Miss Out As A Music Producer

When it comes to learning new production techniques online, the site that usually pops up first in my head is Youtube. As one of the top social websites today, Youtube is not only the kingdom of digital entertainment but it can also be a great environment for learning new things. We’ve gather some Youtube channels that provide quality contents and tutorials for our best eLearning experience as music producers.

W.A Production Youtube Channel


This is the official Youtube Channel for W.A. Production. Within this channel, you can able to find great content released by the W.A. Production team. On a weekly basis, Redhead Roman (founder of W.A. Production) will upload a tutorial on wide range topics related to making music such as sound design, analysis of certain producer’s production techniques, mixing and other technical side of music production. You can check out the How to EDM series to improve your production skills. We sometimes will post our preview of free packs or construction kits and even free FLPs (FL Studio project files) on this channel. Zen World

Do you have sounds that you hear in any mainstage music that you have no idea on how to create them ? Zen World has the tutorials ready for you to take your sound design skills to another level. Producing neuro, metal, orchestral, and bass music since 2004 he has endeavored to create the heaviest and hardest sounds and music he possibly can. His power is well known among producers and his tutorials have helped everyone from the newest beginners to the most seasoned veteran sound designers. A man of all things heavy and loud, SeamlessR looks forward to a future full of bass.

Sadowick Production

Sadowick Production is one of the Youtube channels out there that provides quality in depth tutorial on Ableton. He has 6 hours of tutorials ready for the Ableton users out there to turn from zero to hero. He also teaches music production techniques like EQ (Equalization), Compression, Mixing and Mastering. Do you have plugins that are too complex for you to understand ? He also has tutorials on certain famous plugins among music producers out there such as Xfer Records LFOTool, U-he Diva, Sylenth1, Native Instrument Massive, Reveal Sound Spire and many more.

Ras Loyola

As the one of the best music producers in remaking Electronic Dance Music on Youtube, although he does not do remakes that often anymore, he has the best full length music remakes on Youtube. Unfortunately, his remakes are only in FLP (project files for FL studio) format. He now focuses on teaching sound design and he has sound design video series called Sound Design Saturday.

Multiplier

Multiplier is more than just a DJ. He’s a big personality with hands in all corners of the music industry. As Multiplier has been using Ableton throughout his music production journey, he is able to provide you in depth knowledge on the Ableton itself. If you want to become a professional sound designer for the famous sound synthesizer Serum, Multiplier has a series of tutorial for you to master Serum.

Rocket Powered Sound Tutorials

Rocket Powered Sound is determined to give producers all the skills they need to pursue their careers in electronic music. Tutorials of sound designing for Spire, Massive and Serum, Start to finish of certain genre track video series and sometimes certain music production techniques are all demonstrated in Ableton. With more than 2 million views, he has been providing quality tutorials since 2013. For those who are lacking a bit of knowledge in music theory, he provides basic tutorials on music theory as well.
