From the Air Festival in Czech Republic Aneta from W. A. Production sat down with artist DropGun (Spinnin Records, Musical Freedom, Hexagon) and answered some questions about his go to software preferences.
Q: How are you?
A: I am ok. I am in the Czech Republic, so I am o.k.
Q: That’s great, so you are here alone, why?
A: Yes, it’s sad because my second partner( Ilyas ) has a problem with his ears and he cannot listen to loud music. It is really hard for us because I am playing alone.
Q: Which producer is your biggest inspiration?
A: At this moment, yes?
Q: Yes.
A: I don’t care for any producers but I really like Don Diablo.
Q: Which plugins do you like the most?
A: I like Nexus and Xfer Serum. We use this plugin Nexus on almost all of our tracks.
Q: What producer do you think is the most funny?
A: Salvatore Ganacci. And I like DVBBS. They are really crazy and really fun.
Q: Massive vs. Serum?
A: Both. Both are strong synthesizers.
Q: Nexus vs. Kontakt 5?
A: Nexus.
Q: Mac vs Windows?
A: I used Windows all my life. Maybe 2 months ago I started to use Mac. And I think Mac is better for production, for making music.
Q: Headphones or Speakers?
A: For me Headphones.
Q: Salvatore Ganacci, clown or showman?
A: Showman.
Aneta: Thank you so much, that is all I have. Have a good show.
DropGun: “Thank You.”
